March 14, 2026Anatoliy Drobakha4 min read

Status update on the PersonaMatrix Research Journal Volume 1 submission and review pipeline. Current submissions: 5 articles, 3 under review, 2 accepted.

Current Status (March 2026)

The PersonaMatrix Research Journal (PMRJ) has completed its first editorial cycle for Volume 1 (2026).

Submission pipeline:

  • Total submissions received: 5
  • Under review: 3
  • Accepted (pending final formatting): 2
  • Rejected: 0
  • Withdrawn: 0
  • Accepted Articles

Both accepted articles have completed the double-blind review process:

    1. "Personality Inference from Reflective Writing Using Large Language Models" — passed review with minor revisions. Final version submitted.

    2. "Psychometric Validity of LLM-Based Big Five Scoring: A Pilot Study" — passed review with moderate revisions. Revised version under final editorial review.

    Review Process Notes

The double-blind process worked as intended. Reviewers were recruited from the lab's academic network. Average review turnaround: 18 days (target: 21 days).

One challenge: reviewers unfamiliar with LLM-based methods required additional context in the review guidelines. We will update the reviewer guide for Volume 2.

    ISSN Application

ISSN application submitted to the ISSN Portal. Awaiting assignment (typical timeline: 4–6 weeks).

    Volume 1 Target Publication

Full Volume 1 publication target: April 2026.
