Submission Guidelines
PMRJ welcomes original research contributions in LLM behavior, psychometrics for AI, AI safety, EdTech, and related interdisciplinary areas. Please review the guidelines below before submitting your manuscript.
EdTech-related submissions are especially encouraged, particularly those addressing AI-supported learning, adaptive educational systems, and psychometrically informed learning design.
Accepted Article Types
Research Article
Original empirical research with methodology, results, and discussion. Typical length: 4,000–8,000 words.
Methodological Paper
Detailed presentation of new methods, tools, or frameworks for AI behavioral evaluation. Typical length: 3,000–6,000 words.
Educational Framework Paper
Conceptual or applied research on AI-supported learning, adaptive educational systems, reflective pedagogy, or psychologically informed EdTech design. Typical length: 3,000–7,000 words.
Research Note
Short-form findings, preliminary results, or focused observations. Typical length: 1,500–3,000 words.
Technical Report
Comprehensive documentation of experimental setups, datasets, or evaluation protocols. Typical length: 3,000–10,000 words.
Conceptual Paper
Theoretical contributions, literature reviews, or position papers advancing the journal's thematic scope. Typical length: 3,000–6,000 words.

Review Process & Timeline
All submissions undergo a structured editorial review process. The journal employs a single-blind review model. Typical turnaround from submission to first decision is 4–6 weeks.
